Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront is Hosting a High Tea to support CANSA

On 5 October 2019, Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront will be hosting an exclusive ocean-side garden party on the lawns and pool terrace, with 50% of the proceeds going to CANSA.

“The reality is that everyone knows someone who has, in one way or another, been affected by cancer. The work that CANSA does is therefore more important than ever,” says Dominique van Wezop, Operations Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront. “The organisation does research into cancer risk reduction, offers support to those affected by the disease, runs educational drives and so much more. We are honoured to be able to do our part in supporting this amazing work.”

Purchasing a ticket for R550 will get you access to a stunning high tea, a welcome drink from Hendricks, a goodie bag, lawn games and more. Gavin Edwards, runner up in season one of The Voice SA, is lending his voice to the day, so guests will be able to enjoy the stunning views, sip delicious tea and cocktails, eat scrumptious treats and enjoy the most stunning views of the Atlantic, all while being serenaded and wooed by an amazing local artist.

Food items on the day includes cucumber-cream and cheese-finger sandwiches, grilled chicken wraps with avocado, rocket and sweet-chili mayonnaise, grilled vegetable wraps with hummus, Quiche Lorraine, scones with toppings, cake pops and so much more.

For those who can’t make it to the high tea, but would like to support, Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront will, for the month of October, be selling raffle tickets where all the proceeds will go to CANSA. The main prize includes a two-night stay for two people in a premium ocean-view room, including breakfast.
