Hi. I’m nancy. 27 years of age. I would like to ask a question about the changes I have on my body. I loose hair, lost my complection I also have some black bruises which keep on appearing on my skin. Most of the time I feel nausea. Could it be Symptoms of cancer?

    • Debbie @CANSA says:

Hi Nancy, hair loss may be caused by Thyroid disease, anaemia, protein deficiency, chemotherapy, and low vitamin levels. Alopecia areata is a form of hair loss, produced by the autoimmune destruction of hair follicles in localized areas of skin. It is important to discuss your symptoms with a medical professional as soon as possible to establish the cause. The fact that you also have bruises and feel nauseous, should also be investigated. Don’t delay, make an appointment as soon as possible.
