Out with the toxic
Zululand Observer – 18 November 2011 (p23)
New mothers Nozipho Xaba, Nothando Mkhize, Fundaphi Gumede and
Sinenhlanhla Khubone threw away their old, toxic baby bottles, with
CANSA’s Sr Eileen Bozas and Loriette Engelbrecht looking on.
A group of mothers received new baby bottles on Tuesday at the Empangeni Clinic as a part of the CANSA Free Exchange project. The exchange is part of a nationwide drive to see all infant bottles containing the harmful chemical Bisphenol A (BPA) eradicated.
