A cancer patient visited by Jocelyn Moodley and Silvia Craucamp

On 18 July, CANSA volunteer for the Alberton area, Jocelyn Moodley and Silvia Craucamp visited the Clinton Clinic’s Oncology in-patient ward and the out-patients division as part of CANSA Eastern Gauteng’s 67 Minutes Mandela Day celebrations.

The patient in the photo right, received her last dose on the day we were there.  She has requested to become a Warrior for CANSA Alberton and to work hand in hand with us in the branch.

We also handed out purple wraps, Madiba book marks, survivor cards and red roses.

CANSA Alberton will in future visit the patients twice a month to hand out gifts, promote CANSA’s services as well as to sign on new patients.
